May Day

Happy May Day everyone! Today is RSS awareness day. If you have no idea what I am talking about the check out the banner link below to find out more or visit the Wikipedia entry for more. I like this cause because it really does simplify your daily news intake and if you are an avid Internet new junkie like myself, this is an absolute requirement to feed your addiction. But there are many other applications for using RSS feeds, such as downloading torrents of the latest American Idol/Battlestar Galactica episode or getting the latest podcast of your favorite news station. I love Google Reader for my subscriptions. I can check on the news anywhere on any operating system and don't have to update feed information between different programs. By using Google Gears along with Reader you can also read the latest information offline as well. Check it out and spread the word.

Oh yeah, it is also International Worker's Day as well and people are pissed! Read all about it and for your visual needs, here are some pictures from around the world of those angry people protesting...or blowing bubbles.
